On the one hand, I work as an account manager in sales and on the other as a project manager. About 20 years ago, I joined stodt as a trainee advertising agent, as it was still known back then. This has since been rebranded as a “marketing communications agent”, although in terms of content, nothing much has changed as far as I know.

The most important part of sales is securing new customers and fulfilling commitments to existing ones. As a general rule, this is how I also handle the projects acquired in this way in project management.

I’m very good at planning and organising. That’s a huge help when it comes to implementing projects. I also like to think that I keep a cool head even in stressful situations and this brings stability to the project team.

stodt is the only company I've ever worked for. That tells you something about stodt and about me, I think. Simply put, there’s great camaraderie here.

What I especially like and what gets on my nerves at the same time: That it’s almost impossible to plan anything to a final conclusion. That everything that you’ve carefully planned the day before goes out the window just a half an hour into the next day because an unexpected customer request comes in or another new challenge presents itself. On the one hand, these challenges are enjoyable because no working day is ever the same as a result. On the other hand, however, they can get on your nerves because all of your careful planning can be thwarted in an instant.
