Commercial Management

Carina | Commercial Management

May we introduce? Carina,

another “Head of...” at stodt. In her case it’s Commercial Management.

That’s what we call a storybook career. She started as a trainee in 2007 and has now arrived at the management level. And she always stayed a nice person. Isn’t that something? She’ll tell you the rest of the story herself.

When did you join stodt and what do you do exactly?

I joined stodt in 2007. I started my professional training in marketing communications, following which I was lucky enough to be asked to stay on here at stodt – an offer I was also happy to accept. I then worked in admin for a while and here is where I got my first glimpse of project management. This experience was particularly useful in helping me understand what stodt is all about: what types of products and services do we offer.

And now you are the commercial manager.

Yes, exactly. I’ve been overseeing things in this area since 2019: all the figures, personnel and contracts.

How do you stand out?

I’m really in my element when it comes to organisational matters – planning and staying on top of things. At the same time, however, I want to be there for my team and my colleagues, and remain approachable at all times. This has helped me build a super team responsible for purchasing, order management and personnel management.

What do you like about stodt in particular?

Easy answer: the team. stodt has become like a little family to me. It's simply a great place to work. I love being part of the team.
